Iggy the Mummy (Omaha Tiger) Kiel,
Richard
•
Iggy the Mummy, is also known as the
Russian Mummy. He is a professional wrestler who is in love with
Terrible Tessie. Tessie mentions Iggy threw a referee into the
third row when he thought he was flirting with her. Iggy gives
Starsky a mean look at the arena, which makes Starsky nervous. At
the end, Tessie tells Starsky and Hutch she and Iggy are getting
married. Iggy picks Starsky up and says the Russian word for
“friend.” Then he kisses Starsky on both cheeks. Starsky has to do
the same back to him.
Ignatius/Igneous (Committee) not credited
• Ignatius is Starsky's pet rock. He buys him from Huggy. Starsky
uses the pet rock to distract Fargo in the tunnel so he and the
lawyer can get away. At one point, Starsky jokes to Hutch that the
rock's name could be Igneous, the geological
term.
Ingram, Gillian (Gillian) Carlson, Karen
• Gillian is
Hutch’s girlfriend. Hutch goes out with her for month before he
introduces her to Starsky. She tells Starsky she was named by her
father after an English woman he'd loved. She says she is a writer.
She lives in a really nice apartment. While in a massage parlor
looking for Lonely Bloggs’ killer, Starsky sees Gillian in back
with a customer. Starsky calls Huggy, and it is confirmed that she
is a high-priced call girl who works for the Grossmans. The
Grossmans brought her with them from Cleveland. Gillian wants to
quit her hooker job, but the Grossmans won’t let her. Starsky goes
to Gillian’s apartment and tries to give her money to leave town.
He tells her Hutch needs to know about her real job and her past.
She agrees to tell Hutch in the morning. After Starsky leaves,
Gillian goes to tell Olga she is quitting. Gillian hits Olga and
leaves her keys with her. Olga orders Al to kill Gillian. Starsky
discovers Gillian’s body shortly before Hutch does.
Iris (Running) Fradella,
Kathlyn
•
Iris is the woman Vern DuBois tries
to rob. He jimmies her door open, thinking she's not there. Later,
Iris comes running down the hall, screaming that the man tried to
rob her too. Sharman tells her not to call the cops as he "didn't
steal anything."
Itchy (Bust Amboy) Jung,
Nathan
•
Itchy is one of Amboy’s thugs. He is
also a gourmet chef who studied at “Cordon Bleu”. After Starsky and
Hutch turn down the fancy meal Amboy offers them, they beat up the
thugs there, including Itchy. Itchy knows karate. He is taken down
by a pan of lamb ragout.
Ignatius, Father Jonathan (Silence) Betz,
Carl

The real Father Jonathan Ignatius was
about 6'0, a hundred eighty pounds and his seventy-first birthday
was the day Dobey reads off his stats to Starsky and Hutch. The man
who kills him and takes his place at Dismas House is named Marty .
One of Marty's other names may be Greg
Filmon.
Ivers,
Dolly (Moonshine) Weller, Mary
• She is Sam
Iver’s daughter. The Ivers are originally from Kentucky but came to
California to escape the mines, something that was bad for her
father’s health. The Ivers have been making moonshine in three
states, over four wars and during twenty presidencies. Dolly drives
a yellow GMC pickup as she makes moonshine deliveries to the bars
in the area. After hearing that Frank and Virgil have died from bad
moonshine, she and her father want to ship their bodies back home.
Willy Hall, one of their employees, wants to be Dolly’s boyfriend.
She can’t stand Willy. She orders Willy to dump the rest of the bad
moonshine. He disobeys her orders. She is angry with Willy when he
says he is going to kill Starsky. Dolly and her father return to
Kentucky after Willy and his brother, Melvin, are
arrested.
Ivers, Sam (Moonshine) Fisher,
Shug
•
He is Dolly Iver’s father. The Ivers
are originally from Kentucky but came to California to escape the
mines, something that was bad for her father’s health. The Ivers

have died from bad moonshine, Sam and his daughter want to ship
their bodies back home. Sam backs up his daughter’s decision to
dump the bad moonshine.

Carla is Roy Slater’s girlfriend. He
hurts her, and she is afraid of him. Huggy tells Starsky where she
works. Carla used to work at the amusement park at Mandalay Heights
before it was torn down. Carla works as a prostitute now. Starsky
promises her she will never have to see Roy Slater again if she
helps him find him.
